Raghvendra Singh has over forty two years of experience in the Government of India. He has had wide exposure in the Ministries of External Affairs, Finance and Home Affairs. He also spearheaded the Ministries of Culture and Textiles. In the field of academia, he contributed as Director General (National Archives of India), Director (Nehru Memorial Museum and Library), Vice Chancellor (National
Museum Institute) and Director General (National Library). He was Director, Indian Cultural Center in Berlin, in-charge of mainland Europe for cultural exchanges.
He has also done extensive work in preservation and restoration of India’s heritage and was CEO of “Development of Museums and Cultural Spaces” in the Government of India and also the DG (National Museum).
He is currently, a Senior Fellow at the Vivekananda International Foundation, a premier Indian Think Tank.
He is a graduate in History from Hindu College, Delhi University and has also done M.A., Modern Indian History from Hindu College, University of Delhi.
