About

Vaishnavi Anantha

Introduction

Vaishnavi Anantha is an 18-year-old author and law student at Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad. She started writing at the age of 12 and has written four novels till now, including The JAZ Gang Series, a mythological adventure, and a historical fiction. Her upcoming work is a self-help book for teens and young adults, inspired by her belief that stories can guide, heal, and empower. A homeschooler turned college student, Vaishnavi has spoken at the Hyderabad Literature Festival, the New Delhi World Book Fair (2025), and now the Bhopal Literature Festival (2026). When she’s not writing, you’ll probably find her sparring (she’s a black belt), exploring new things, or geeking out over India’s past. Passionate about history, mythology, and the values of Sanatan Dharma, she hopes to inspire young readers to rediscover India’s past in today’s world.

The Society for Culture & Environment will hold the fourth edition of 'Heartland Stories — Bhopal Literature and Art Festival 2022 as a physical cum virtual event, between 25-27th March 2022.
