Sudarshan Ramabadran

Introduction

Sudarshan Ramabadran is an author and policy specialist. He has over 12 years of experience in policy, research, communications and advocacy. He has worked across New Indian Express, Government of Gujarat, India Foundation, DAV Group of Schools and is currently with the National Stock Exchange. He is an alumnus of the Vivekananda College, Asian College of Journalism, Madras University and the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.

In 2013, he authored his first book for the Government of Gujarat, ‘Good Governance: People’s Voice’. The book has been published in English and Gujarati. In 2021, he co-authored Makers of Modern Dalit History, published by Penguin Random House India. The book has been published in English, Hindi and Marathi.

He is also a Professional Fellow for Governance and Society (South and Central Asia), which is part of a premier exchange program organized and run by the U.S. State Department.

His core areas of research interests in the field of literature includes: Indian indigenous history(ancient, colonial and post-colonial perspectives), cultures, spiritual literature and also exploring interdisciplinary connections between them.


The Society for Culture & Environment will hold the fourth edition of 'Heartland Stories — Bhopal Literature and Art Festival 2022 as a physical cum virtual event, between 25-27th March 2022.
